Spooner House

Plymouth Antiquarian Society

The Spooner House is one of the oldest structures on Plymouth’s picturesque North Street. It was home to one Plymouth family, the Spooners, for over two hundred years. Five generations of one family lived here from before the American Revolution into the 20th century. This 1749 house, with its original furnishings, gives an intimate view of Plymouth history after the Pilgrims, including stories of local mariners, merchants, patriots, slaves and reformers.
